Working groups
Each of our working groups focuses on a key priority for young people with chronic illness and their families
IDENTIFYING CONSUMER PRIORITIES
We seek to identify the research questions that are considered most important by young people with chronic illness and their families.
ADVOCATING FOR CHILDREN WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS
We seek to create active and engaged partnerships with government and policy makers so that we can successfully advocate for young people living with chronic illness.
MINIMISING THE BURDEN OF CHRONIC ILLNESS
Through research, policy, and practice change, we seek to reduce the burden and cost of chronic illness.
OPTIMISING MODELS OF CARE
We seek to innovate and translate evidence into policy and practice, to drive the development and implementation of models of care that reduce burden and improve outcomes.
SUPPORTING CHILDREN TO ACHIEVE THEIR ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL POTENTIAL
We recognise that supporting children and young people to achieve their academic and vocational potential is a key priority for those living with chronic illness.
HELPING FAMILIES TO STAY RESILIENT, INFORMED AND CONNECTED
We aim to support families to be resilient, well-informed, and connected.
